Welcome to the 2010 season for the Sports Journal of the Colonie Little League Jr. PeeWee division.
The plan for the season is simple, have fun while learning how to play the game of baseball. At such a young age I think that success will be measured by how many of this years players sign up to play again next year and not by how many wins our team has. The memory of a season where your son made some friends, learned the basic fundamentals of baseball and had some fun will last longer than our win/loss record ever will. As parents/fans it is important that you support this plan. As fans please remember that this is Jr. PeeWee baseball and not the major leagues. Please keep it in perspective. Finally please realize/understand that the umpires for our games are 14-15 year olds and not professional umpires. They will do their best but will make mistakes. GO EASY ON THEM! With all that said please come into the season ready to have fun watching your kids having fun. If you do so, we will have a successful season. Thanks.
