Colonie Little League is woven into the fabric of many families in our area.
In the past 50+ years about 50,000 boys and girls have participated in the programs at Cook Park, and earlier off Wolf Road.
Dad's and Mom's have run practices, manned the concession stands, and chalked fields so that every kid in Colonie has the chance to hit the ball and run to first base with everything they have.
Parents fill the bleachers to cheer for each others children, and to watch them go to "T-Ballers" to "Major Leaguers". Along the way Colonie has produced some great teams, but more importantly it has been a catalyst for building stronger families, and life long frienships.
Colonie Little League is proudest of our Challenger Program that affords disadvantaged kids the chance to play on the big field with the largest cheering section. All of our players and officers have found out how precious baseball is by helping kids play it for the first time, or when they might not have.
Operations
Colonie Little League is an all-volunteer league. Many parents devote their personal time to support and operate the league. Help is always needed - if you are interested in volunteering some time, please drop us a note in the contact area.
